Chicken is unfair.

Should I really do that? Will pheasants taste better than chickens? No, it's a misunderstanding. 
There can be no statistics or data that pheasant meat is better than chicken. 
Pheasant meat lovers and rhapsodies may complain that pheasant meat is better, but it is not. 
Few people talk like that. Pheasant meat is almost forgotten meat. 
Few people try pheasant meat often and remember its taste. 
Why is it chicken instead of pheasant?


Both pheasants and chickens are flying animals that are easy to spawn and hatch. 
Lay a lot of eggs. It is not difficult to get eggs and hatch them. 
It's a matter of return, and raising pheasants is not that difficult. 
By the way, samgyetang, braised spicy chicken, 
and baeksuk restaurants across the country are rare, but pheasant meat is sold. 
Why are few houses selling wild pheasants and breeding pheasants? It's simple. 
There's not much demand. 

After eating once or twice, it's enough. 
There are sometimes places that sell pheasant meat on rural roads, 
but that's all. Industrialization is difficult. 

This is because there is not much demand for pheasant meat. 
It's a vicious cycle. 
There aren't many places to sell, so it's rare for people to eat. 
If pheasant meat was noticeably delicious, 
someone would have created a franchise specializing in pheasant meat. 
But it's not there. 
Think of many chicken franchise stores nationwide. 
It is not a chicken instead of a pheasant, but a pheasant instead of a chicken.
Why is it chicken instead of pheasant? Simple. 

 

 

 

 

Labor was common in the past. 
Pheasants that can be caught in mountains and fields do not have owners. 
If you catch it first, you're in charge. 
Simply put, it's free.
 Chicken is different. 
Unless you catch chickens that grow wild in the mountains, chickens have owners. 
There is a separate person who feeds and takes care of them. 
n order to catch a chicken with an owner, you have to pay a "payment." 
It means you have to give money. 
"Chicken instead of pheasant" means "a chicken that has to be paid wastefully 
instead of a pheasant that can be obtained free of charge."

Chicken has been by our side for a long time. 
Gaya's King Kim Su-ro, Goguryeo's Go Joo-mong, 
and Silla's founding leader Park Hyuk-geose all had an absurd story. 
All of them were born from eggs. 
I don't know if it's a chicken, pheasant, or bird, but I was born in an egg anyway. 
In Gyeongju, there is Gyerim. Gyerim is an old name that refers to Korea. 
Gyeongju or the Korean Peninsula was called Gyerim. 
As expected, it's a chicken. Chicken has always been by our side for a long time.

There is also a strange confusion about chickens. Let me introduce a part of the Korean dictionary.

"Dakgaejang" and "Dakgyejang."
Question: Is "Dakgaejang" the food that boiled chicken like yukgaejang? 
Is it "Chicken Sauce Marinated Chicken"?
Answer: Chicken soup is correct. 
Dakgaejang refers to food boiled like Yukgaejang with chicken instead of beef, 
and can be said to be a combination of "chicken" and "gaejang." 
The reason why it is called "Dakgyejang" is reminiscent of "Dakgye," 
but there is no basis for writing "Dakgyejang" because it is related to "Yukgaejang."
"Gaejang" in "Yukgaejang" and "Dakgaejang" are words from "Gaejangguk." 
Gaejangguk is a spicy dish with dog meat, and instead of dog meat, 
beef is called Yukgaejang, and chicken is called Dakgaejang.

 

Chicken soup is a dish like an opening soup boiled with chicken. 
Chicken + Gaejangguk is a chicken soup. 
It's chicken instead of dog. It's not chicken instead of pheasant. 
The chickens were always close to us.

In May (1418), the 18th year of King Taejong's reign, there was a conference of fish. 
The theme was about Prince Seongnyeong, a four-year-old man who died. 
King Taejong and his servants exchange strange questions and answers.

(Strategy) "Since Sogyeonggong usually liked beef, I would like to sacrifice it to Sakmangje." 
However, the item is very large and cannot be used lightly. 
In my opinion, when there is a lotus guest or a ritual at Jongmyo Shrine, 
why don't we worship it?" Many great words answered, "That's right," and he ordered again. 
"Is it polite to use Gye as a sacrifice?" Many say, "Gye refers to chicken, 
and it is Gorye to use Gye as a sacrifice," so the king said, "Sokyeonggong liked chicken again," 
and immediately raised the chicken to the person of the main palace.

Yeonbin is a Chinese envoy, that is, a envoy from the Ming Dynasty envoy. 
I'm a guest of the sewing company. 
The biggest events of the Joseon Dynasty are entertainment for Chinese envoys and Jongmyo ritual. 
At this time, it means, "Let's use meat for Sogyeonggong's memorial service." 
Usually, it is chicken instead of cow.

King Taejong was an absolute monarch who had great power. 
Prince Seongnyeong is the fourth son of King Taejong and the younger brother just below King Sejong. 
He died in May 1418 at the age of 14. 
It is said that King Taejong was intelligent and wise from childhood as a precious son obtained 
from Empress Wonkyung, who was maintenance just before the age of 40. 
As Queen Wongyeong, she is also a precious son who got it at a late age.

The precious son died, but beef cannot be served on the ritual table. 
Why chicken? Because chicken is easy.

In the late Joseon Dynasty, chickens were rather burdened in taverns. 
A lot of people gather.

It's too much trouble to use chicken. 
This is why they boiled the opening soup, not the chicken soup. 
Avoiding chicken at the tavern is not because of the lack of chicken taste. 
Chicken is not good? This is unfair.

Dasan Jeong Yak-yong (1762-1836) returns to his hometown of Mahyeon,
 Gyeonggi-do, after 18 years of exile. Chicken appears in the poem left around this time. 
It says, "I made Yeonpotang by picking a chicken from five houses." 
He will hold a mountain party with young juniors in Cheolmasan Mountain, close to his hometown of Mahyeon. 
Of course, I prepare food. The menu is Yeonpotang.

Yeonpotang is a soup boiled with soft tofu and soft tofu. 
In the early Joseon Dynasty, it was simple to put salted shrimp soup in tofu. He said it was tofu stew. 
It is tofu soup. 
As we go into the latter half, Yeonpotang becomes colorful. 
There's chicken in it. 
The Yeonpotang that Dasan ate is a fairly luxurious Premium Yeonpotang.

Boil the chicken and slice it into small pieces. Cut tofu into dice shape. 
Boil tofu and chicken in chicken soup. 
It's a premium Yeonpotang. Chicken goes in and becomes a premium. 
The broth becomes colorful with chicken soup from salted shrimp soup.

In June, the 7th year of King Sukjong (1681), the era before Dasan, 
Kim Soo-hang (1629-1689), Yeonguijeong, impeached strangely. 
He said, "Mokimil (1646~Misang), a secret royal inspector who went to the Pyeongan-do region, 
held a Yeonpohoe meeting by shooting a temple in the mountain with local Chalbang and Jeokgaek."

If it's true, it's a big sin. Chalbang is a government official who manages counterattacks. 
It is a government official of an institution 
that takes care of officials in charge of public affairs and manages horses. 
The enemy guest is a exile. 
Those who live in exile are restricted from entering the outside world.

 

 

Secret activities are the principle of secret royal inspector. 
I don't reveal my identity. 
A secret royal inspector held a Yeonpohoe meeting with a sinner 
who was living in exile and managing the station. 
Yeonpohoe is a group of people who eat Yeonpotang and drink and play. 
It's an outdoor party today. 
The public Yeonpohoe of secret royal inspector is a big sin.


In the late Joseon Dynasty, Yeonpohoe received attention as a great party. 
Tofu became relatively common, but chicken was not. 
Dasan saved five chickens, one from each house, because chicken was also precious.

In Dongguk Sesigi, written by Hong Seok-mo (1781-1857) in the late Joseon Dynasty,
 Yeonpotang is recorded in detail. 
It is a content that is made and boiled by sewing tofu cut in the shape of a dice, 
finely cut chicken, and strip glue. 

Yeonpotang in "Dongguk Sesigi" is similar to that of Dasan. 
At the same time, it is similar. 
It means that it has spread widely. 
In the late Joseon Dynasty, many people enjoyed Yeonpotang.

Chicken often reminds me of samgyetang. Samgyetang is a food of our time. 
Ginseng in the Joseon Dynasty was wild ginseng. 
Cultivated ginseng appears in the late Joseon Dynasty. 
Prior to that, they were all wild ginseng and wild ginseng. 
There was no samgyetang boiled with precious wild ginseng and chicken.
 Even if they obtained cultivated ginseng, it was red ginseng or dried dried ginseng. 
Samgyetang, which is boiled with cultivated ginseng raw, is a food after ginseng can be refrigerated and frozen.
Chicken is a completely different thing. 
The spirituality used today is a mess. 
Yeonggye is the coined word for "YOUNG+'." 
It's a mess. 
Our chickens were divided into original, linked, true, and live.

In general, there are three distinctive names for a living that is true. 
Chicken that has been grown for many years is called Jingye,
 and the one that has just hatched is called Yeonggye, 
and the one that is neither Jingye nor Yeonggye is called Hwalgye. 

Since the year of Musin (1788), 
there has been a precedent of worshiping the connection 
when offering instead in summer, promoting the livelihood when it is sealed instead in winter, 
and in the case of using it instead under the hump. From now on, whether it is summer or winter, 
why don't we set it up to reduce the number of jingye 
by calculating one jingye to two live if there is a negative effect that requires 
all the jingye to be sealed instead of following the formula?"

The old chicken, Jingye, is a moderately grown two live fish. 
Jingye, it means that an old chicken is better. 
After hatching, chickens that are not old are linked. 
In summer, chickens have not yet grown. Inevitably, in summer, they dedicate their connection. 
That's all. There is no expression anywhere that the connection is good. 
Jingye is the most expensive.

The samgyetang we eat is just a chicken soup that is like a chick that has not yet been properly revealed. 
On top of that, I believe that even young cultivated ginseng is eaten and rejuvenated.
