Cucumber is one of the longest vegetables mankind has eaten.

It is the story of a cucumber by Confucius (551 BC to 479 BC).

Confucius was a person 500 years ago. It is 2,500 years ago. 
At this time, cucumbers were already by our side. 
There was a farmhouse and cucumbers were raised on the bank of the field. 
Jeo is pickled vegetables. 
Pickled cucumbers are pickled cucumber. 
There is no explanation for the exact form, but it would have been either super-panched or salted.

It is said that pickled cucumbers are dedicated to ancestors. 
It means that it was used for ancestral rites. 
"It's not precious because it was used for ancestral rites." 
All grains, vegetables, and beasts were used for ancestral rites. 
However, the fact that cucumbers were pointed out shows that cucumbers were very friendly, produced and common.

Yeo Bu-wi (290 BC- 235 BC) is a civil official of Jin.

"I enjoyed the taste only three years after Confucius and Zhu Dynasty's Moon Gong liked me, 
frowning his nose." 
Since it is called Jeo, it is not known which vegetables and how they were made, 
but it is clear that it is Kimchi.

In Hushin (58-148) of Hu Han, China, "Seolmun Haeja" and "I am Chochae." It's a word that calls for the past." 
"Gwa" is cucumber. 
"Gwajeo" is sour kimchi and cucumber made from cucumbers and cucumbers. 
It is not known exactly how it is made, but it is a vegetable fermented food with a sour taste made of cucumbers. 
"Chochae" is a vegetable food with a strong sour taste.

Jo Sik (192-232), the fifth son of Emperor Zozo of the Wei Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms Period of China, 
is famous for his "Chilboshi."

There are examples of cucumber fields and translating them into melon fields, 
but they are wrong. Oriental melons are "Jin. 
It is different from cucumber. Oyat is a plum tree. 
If you fix your shoes in the cucumber field, you can be misunderstood as if you were stealing cucumbers. 
If you tie your gat string under a plum tree, you may be misunderstood as stealing plums. 
Gunja does not do anything to be misunderstood.
 Breakfast is about 1,800 years ago. Even at this time, cucumbers were widely grown and eaten.


A poem by Dasan Jeong Yak-yong (1762-1836) exceeds all records of Chinese cucumbers. 
It is a poem written in 1801 called "Acquire and Feelings of the Sun (得新瓜書懷 득신과서회 , Deukshinseohoe)"

If you plant cucumbers in the fields of the mountain, your body will be clean, 
and if you put them in a fraud bowl, your heart will be happy.

Dasan's widely known exile is Gangjin, Jeollanam-do. 
In June 1800, King Jeongjo died, and Dasan was dismissed. 
The following year, Dasan left for exile in Guryongpo Janggi (Yeonghae), Gyeongsang-do. 
This is Dasan's first exile. 
As the white paper case of Lee Hae-hwang Sa-young broke out,
Dasan was sent to Hanyang again, received a trial, and left for exile in Gangjin, Jeollanam-do. 
This poem was written in "Yeonghae Land Retreat". 
Dasan is eager to farm cucumbers for a long time. 
It depicts the scenery of cucumbers in summer, and provides farming tools. 
It is a yard that has declared to the family that they will "farm cucumbers."

In this situation, the landlord buys cucumbers and recommends them. 
When did I ask you to eat cucumbers? I said I wanted to farm cucumbers. 
Chubu Tagang refers to rare foods such as camel peak flesh. 
Delicious cucumbers were served, but my mind was already twisted. 
The screening was wrong because the cucumber farming was left only to a low-ranking official. 
It is affectionate to see a noble man who also served as a Dangsanggwan government official hanging on to cucumber farming.

It is also related to cucumbers that appear in the poem, "Sopyeong refused to take the post." 
It is also a Chinese record. 
Sopyeong is a person from the Jin Dynasty and is from Dongneung and served as a high government official named Dongneunghu. 
When the Qin Dynasty collapsed, Dongneung Royal Tombs lowered themselves to ordinary ordinary people, 
planted cucumbers in the east of Janganseong Fortress, and made a living by selling them. 
People called it "Dongneung Oi" and "Dongneunggwa" because the appearance of abandoning

Cucumber is not always romantic. 
There is also a embarrassing story in which cucumbers appear.

This is the record of December 21st in the 10th year of King Seongjong (1479). 
The title is "Kim Seung-kyung and others should avoid the heavyness of the tribute when posting a spell."

On the Chinese side, the Joseon envoy was a plausible position. 
Jeongdong or Wangjik wants to come to each other. 
The envoys collected tributes and bribes privately. 
For the powerless Joseon Dynasty, most Chinese envoys' demands were met.

Starting with this examination, cucumbers were used as words to set the term and deadline of government officials going outside. 
They are in the past, excessive, past years, and past years. 
"Gwa" is of course a cucumber.

The history of cucumbers on the Korean Peninsula is also formidable. 
Even in the Unified Silla period, cucumbers appear, and cucumbers appear steadily throughout Goryeo and Joseon.

Choi Eung, who appears as a bookkeeper for King Taejo Wang Geon of Goryeo in the drama,

Jeonggwajeong Pavilion is Jeonggwajeong Pavilion. 
Jeong's cucumber planting is a coffee house. 
"Gajeong" refers to a garden where cucumbers are planted and then cared for.

In the 5th year of King Uijong's reign (1151), the sentiment of eunuchinang left for Dongnae. 
The king says. 
"Today's work was driven by mediation discussions, so I will summon you after I go."

As such, it means that the court will send him to exile,
but he will call him back soon. However, the summon of the king does not come easy. 
In Dongnae, a place of exile, emotions build a hut, raise cucumbers, 
and sing songs that draw kings while riding Gayageum on their own.
